Rocky Ridge
Redland Brick's Rocky Ridge Moulded Brick Plant has a rich history that dates back to the 19th century. Rocky Ridge's roots go back to the 1800's when Baltimore area brick plants were supplying to all of the major East Coast cities. Today, the plant's bricks are used by designers, architects, and homeowners to capture the warm, traditional appearance that only wood mould products can provide.
Rocky Ridge's bricks combine the best of old-world beauty with today's innovative computer technology. Although fired in a modern computer-controlled kiln, the bricks are formed by methods that are simliar to centuries-old brick making. Like artisans of colonial times, bricks are formed by placing soft mud into sanded wood moulds. The sand not only provides the final brick color but also is used to release the clay from the mould. The end result is a distinctive brick that privides a unique warmth and depth to any building exterior.
Rocky Ridge's wide array of classic colors and unique moulded texture provides the aesthetic charm and the long-lasting beauty that homeowners demand.
